Young Experimenters Explore Space!

Astronomy has been in the news a lot recently. The landing of the Philae lander on comet 67P, the passage of a particularly large asteroid past the Earth last week, and the discovery of lander Beagle 2 on Mars last month name but a few of the developments. There will be a partial solar eclipse, which will be visible in the morning of 20th March. At the end of November, Tim Peake will become the first British ESA Astronaut to work on the International Space Station.

The Older Home Ed workshop tomorrow will be exploring the question ‘Why is planet Earth special?’ We will experiment with some of the properties that make life possible on Earth, and consider whether there may be life on other planets.
