Wind turbine workshop for ASD children

This Saturday I am running a workshop for children to design and test their own wind turbine blades! During the workshop, children will be encouraged to think about how the blades will work, as well as identifying parameters that will make them more efficient. At the end of the workshop, we will test out the blades, and see how many weights they can lift. For more details about how the workshop will run, please see here.

The workshop will be held at Bailey’s Court Primary School, in Bradley Stoke, and is suitable for children aged 6 upwards. It will start at 11am, and last for one hour. Parents are asked to stay and get involved! The workshop costs £5. If you are interested in coming to this workshop please let me know (contact me on info@youngexperimenters.com.) so that I can send you more details and a booklet about what we will be doing.  This workshop is in conjunction with the Bristol branch of the National Autistic Society.
