Chocolate galore!

Thank you to everybody who came to the first ever Saturday Science Club. The children had great fun learning about miscible and immiscible liquids, micelles and some curious properties of chocolate. There were some awesome chocolate boxes made, which were soon devoid of their chocolates!

During the next workshop on the 15th March, children will be using a scientific phenomena that they are familiar with to create a fridge that works without electricity! We will also be looking at other ways we use this phenomena to our advantage in everyday life. The children will be able to take their creations home.

Thanks Lucy, it was a fantastic session. A great way to start ones Saturday. Fun and interesting. Ishmael is looking forward to the next session. As a parent what I like is that your club provides children with the opportunity to be part of a community of experimenters!
